Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM tools for threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct incident response, forensic analysis, and breach remediation
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Perform risk assessments and compliance audits for client systems
- Develop security documentation and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
