Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures
- Participate in security awareness training across the organization
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent cybersecurity certification (CompTIA Security+, CySAe)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 security operations
