Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in accordance with incident response plans.
- Configure and manage firewall rules and network security appliances.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) or information security role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security concepts.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
