Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC): Analyze incoming alerts and logs from SIEM systems to identify potential threats and suspicious activities.
- Incident Response Support: Assist senior analysts in triaging, documenting, and responding to minor security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Network Monitoring: Conduct basic scans and assessments to ensure network integrity and identify unauthorized access points.
- Compliance Reporting: Help maintain accurate records of security audits and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Threat Research: Participate in threat intelligence briefings and stay updated on the latest cyberattack vectors.
- Patch Management: Assist in the identification and tracking of software patches to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
