Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Analyze network traffic for suspicious activity
- Document security incidents and mitigation actions
- Collaborate with incident response teams during breaches
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Update security documentation and procedures
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
