Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Document incident reports and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call rotations for critical incidents
- Contribute to threat intelligence analysis and security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with threat detection methodologies and forensic analysis
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
