Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Conduct forensic analysis and threat hunting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security remediation
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed audit trails
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
- Participate in security drills and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environment
- Valid U.S. passport and willingness to undergo federal background check
