Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and malware
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Develop and optimize security automation scripts
- Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- Active CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat detection platforms
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong analytical skills and incident response expertise
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent written communication for reporting
- Relevant bachelor's degree in IT or related field
