Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with global teams via encrypted channels during critical incidents
- Document security protocols and create incident response playbooks
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
- Provide 24/7 incident escalation support for high-priority alerts
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Proficiency in network protocols, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and forensic tools
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work autonomously during night shift with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
