Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat reports
- mentor junior security analysts through knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (Darktrace, Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
