Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on remote systems
- Collaborate with global teams to implement security patches and hardening measures
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security trend analyses
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Contribute to security awareness training for remote workforce
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with network protocols and cloud security frameworks
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
- Strong analytical skills and high-pressure decision-making ability
