Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events on a 24/7 basis.
- Investigate suspicious activities and perform threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities.
- Manage and maintain SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for real-time monitoring.
- Conduct log analysis and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to escalate and resolve complex incidents.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed post-incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM technologies and log analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Ability to work night shifts (graveyard shift) on a rotating schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
