Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats to equity options trading systems during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols for financial data
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on trading platforms
- Collaborate with global teams to develop threat intelligence for financial sector
- Document security incidents and create detailed incident response reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats affecting financial systems and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with focus on financial services or trading platforms
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Experience with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and network security protocols
- Knowledge of equity options trading systems and financial data regulations
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- Strong analytical skills and experience with incident response procedures
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
