Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor 24/7 security telemetry and detect anomalous behavior across networks and endpoints in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the triage and response to security incidents, including malware analysis and containment strategies.
- Log Management: Perform deep-dive log analysis using SIEM platforms to identify potential vulnerabilities or attack vectors.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and zero-day exploits within the environment.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive security reports and dashboards for stakeholders to communicate risk status.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce security compliance policies and conduct vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in SOC, Security Operations, or Threat Analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or similar SIEM tools; knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, and routing protocols.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
