Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during overnight hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with precision and urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Implement advanced threat detection protocols and security hardening measures
- Collaborate with day shift analysts for seamless security operations handover
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security improvement recommendations
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environment
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and security tools
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize high-pressure situations
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation and reporting
- Must be available for consistent night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM)
