Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, SIEM data, and network traffic during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and threat hunting
- Collaborate with global SOC teams to implement incident response protocols
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive summaries
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Stay updated on emerging threats and implement proactive countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations, incident response, or cybersecurity analysis
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail under pressure
