Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during night shift operations
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents including malware, APTs, and DDoS attacks
- Perform vulnerability scans, patch management, and security hardening of critical infrastructure
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and collaborate with forensic teams
- Implement security controls aligned with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK methodologies
- Participate in tabletop exercises and security awareness training
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required or pending)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent written communication skills for incident documentation
