Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SOAR automation
- Perform threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with global teams during complex security incidents
- Implement NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/NOC environments
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Expert knowledge of IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security tools
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
