Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents during night shift hours
- Investigate alerts using IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection tools
- Perform forensic analysis on malware, phishing attempts, and intrusion events
- Coordinate incident response with global security teams during critical incidents
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and mitigation recommendations
- Conduct vulnerability scans and patch management for production systems
- Maintain security documentation and playbooks for night shift protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and network security technologies
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Shift flexibility and willingness to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
