Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and manage remediation workflows for identified security gaps.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with external stakeholders during security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Perform security assessments and code reviews to ensure application security best practices.
- Collaborate with IT operations to secure network architecture and cloud environments.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
