What You Will Do:
- Oversee the monitoring of security systems and respond to alerts to ensure 24/7 protection.
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments to mitigate potential threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze security logs and trends to proactively identify and neutralize emerging threats.
- Manage incident response activities, including containment and remediation of security breaches.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within SIEM environments (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and local regulatory standards.
- Lead post-incident reviews and develop continuous improvement strategies.
- Provide security awareness training to staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network defense.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security.
- Experience with threat intelligence tools and incident response methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
