Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events within the Security Operations Center (SOC) 24/7.
- Conduct thorough log analysis and threat hunting to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response efforts, including triage, containment, and eradication of cyber threats.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or SOC environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
