Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center in Mesa, AZ. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for monitoring our network infrastructure, identifying potential threats, and implementing robust defense strategies to protect sensitive data.
Our ideal candidate is not just an observer but an active defender, passionate about staying ahead of emerging cyber threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST and HIPAA.
Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Analyze security alerts and events from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify suspicious activities.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and patch security gaps.
- Access Control: Manage user permissions and identity access management (IAM) to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate and maintain compliance reports for auditors and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a SOC, GRC, or Information Security role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
