Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with minimal downtime
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, ISO)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 2+ years hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Incident response experience with IR frameworks
- Ability to work under pressure with tight SLAs
