Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Analyze logs and network traffic patterns to identify anomalous activities
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Create comprehensive security documentation and incident reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or threat analysis roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during security incidents
