Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Document security procedures, incident reports, and audit findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize threats effectively.
