Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM and SOC tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to secure cloud and on-premise environments.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed post-incident reports.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or security analyst role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools like Splunk, SIEM, or Sentinel.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
