Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Develop and implement vulnerability management programs
- Perform security assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Must be US citizen for government clearance
