Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to cyber threats.
- Incident Management: Lead the technical investigation of security incidents and coordinate with the response team.
- Access Control: Manage user access rights and perform regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Security Hardening: Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to secure network perimeters.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related IT security role.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common security protocols.
- Tools: Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection.
