Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk/Sigma) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response efforts to contain, analyze, and remediate security breaches efficiently.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen organizational defenses.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and HIPAA regulations.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and update security policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) or Information Security role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
