Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and manage patch management processes to mitigate risks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and root cause analysis.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Perform user access reviews and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with Incident Response (IR) frameworks and forensics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
