Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and triage potential incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop incident response playbooks and coordinate breach containment activities
- Implement zero-trust security architectures and access controls
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Lead threat hunting initiatives using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certified CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certification
- Expertise in network security tools (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and CIS benchmarks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for incident response
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
