Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses.
- Investigate security breaches, contain threats, and document incident response procedures.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and baselines for the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices to recommend proactive measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with tools like Splunk, FireEye, or similar security platforms.
