Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate breach response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on Alaskan infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud and on-premise systems
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Experience with network security protocols (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of NIST and CIS security frameworks
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 security environment
- Strong analytical skills and threat-hunting capabilities
- Alaska residency or immediate relocation ability
