Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across the enterprise infrastructure in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Manage and tune SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to reduce false positives and detect threats.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with legal and compliance teams during breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and conduct regular security audits.
- Collaborate with software development to integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to critical security incidents.
