Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) for real-time threat detection and incident triage
- Conduct forensic investigations using Wireshark and FTK Imager for breach analysis
- Develop playbooks for zero-day threats and ransomware attack vectors
- Perform vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Burp Suite
- Coordinate incident response with cross-functional teams (DevSecOps/Cloud)
- Generate executive security dashboards and NIST compliance reports
- Lead tabletop exercises simulating APT campaigns
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat hunting
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services (Guard Duty, Sentinel)
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Strong analytical skills for complex malware analysis
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
