Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents
- Implement and maintain network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Document security policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
