Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Perform threat hunting and proactive threat intelligence analysis
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and Hawaii state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and container security
- Strong analytical skills and threat detection abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment
