In this role, you will be the guardian of our enterprise infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring our clients remain secure in an evolving threat landscape.
What You Will Do:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will:
• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) to detect potential threats in real-time.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
• Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies, industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2), and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to design and implement secure network solutions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we require:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in network security, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common cybersecurity attack vectors.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) is a significant plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Threat Detection: Monitor SIEM dashboards and logs to identify suspicious activity and anomalies.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and containment of security breaches and cyberattacks.
- Security Architecture: Assist in the design and maintenance of secure network infrastructure and access controls.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the patch management process and regular security scans.
- Compliance: Ensure all security controls align with corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Reporting: Generate detailed reports on security posture and incident trends for management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a cybersecurity or SOC environment.
- Certifications: Security+ or higher (CISSP, CEH, GSEC preferred).
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of SIEM, Firewalls, VPNs, and Identity Management.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
