Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center (SOC) in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring our network infrastructure, detecting potential threats, and implementing robust security measures to protect our clients' sensitive data.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our Immediate Hiring initiative, ensuring our organization remains resilient against evolving cyber threats. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture and respond effectively to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
- Investigate and analyze suspicious activities to determine the scope and severity of potential breaches.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Document security incidents, create incident reports, and recommend remediation strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, HIPAA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
