Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Develop and update security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development and deployment.
- Perform forensic analysis in the event of a security breach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, Snort, or FireEye.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
