Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze system logs to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in infrastructure.
- Manage and configure Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to ensure 24/7 visibility.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development and deployment practices.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff members regarding phishing and social engineering threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a high-threat environment.
