Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence and proactively identify emerging risks
- Lead incident response investigations and post-mortem reporting
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity analysis experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
