Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) with real-time incident triage
- Lead forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber threats across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for threat detection and response
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST-compliant security controls and frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical infrastructure
- Prepare executive-level security reports and recommend strategic improvements
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on incident response experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for security automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security tools
- Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
