Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts across the network infrastructure in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Investigate security breaches and coordinate incident response activities to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure coding practices and system architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with flexible schedules.
