Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate forensic analysis
- Implement and maintain vulnerability management protocols
- Develop security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in security operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with threat intelligence tools (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
