Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and malicious activity using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before attackers do.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with IT teams to restore normal operations swiftly.
- Perform regular security audits and risk evaluations to ensure continuous protection.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to educate them on cybersecurity awareness and prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
- Proficiency in security tools including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a flexible schedule.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to management.
