Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation
- Implement zero-trust architecture and endpoint protection
- Generate executive security dashboards and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts through weekly workshops
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC roles
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISM certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and NIST guidelines
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site needs
