Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats to equity options trading platforms during weekend shifts
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems for financial data
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on trading applications
- Coordinate incident response during security breaches and market volatility events
- Develop security protocols for high-frequency equity options transactions
- Collaborate with trading desks to ensure regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA)
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Finance with technical focus
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial systems or trading platforms
- Certifications in CISSP, CEH, or CISM (required)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanisms and market structures
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 10PM-6AM)
- Experience with NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 frameworks for financial systems
