Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats against equity options trading systems using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial applications
- Respond to security incidents with rapid containment and remediation procedures
- Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Collaborate with financial teams to ensure compliance with SEC/NYSEC regulations
- Document security incidents and create comprehensive incident response reports
- Develop automated scripts for threat intelligence analysis and anomaly detection
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with financial systems exposure
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Deep understanding of equity options trading systems and market infrastructure
- Proficiency in SOC operations, threat hunting, and incident response
- Experience with NIST frameworks and financial industry compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-pressure environments
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
